Welcome to the official site for the Mugiti Good Hope Foundation.

Our mission is to feed, educate, protect, and inspire vulnerable children at the Home of Good Hope in Mugiti, Uganda.

What could you do without today to change someone’s life this week?

$294 USD helps feed 550 children for two weeks.

Dan Dambirenza and Lydia Logose started an orphanage in 2013 and school in 2015 to help children in Mugiti, Uganda. With few resources to begin with, they have built an organization that now provides food, shelter, and schooling for over 550 children every day.

They need our help to maintain a steady supply of food, provide medication, build sustainable infrastructure, and expand their on-site gardening and poultry farming.

"I’ve known Dan since 2016 when he was pouring every shilling he earned as a tailor into a vision... In ten years he turned a chalkboard under a tree into a thriving school for hundreds of orphaned children. He is a man of rare integrity — every contribution you give will go directly to the children and the school’s growth."- Khali G

Since her first visit in 2016, Khali has recruited the help of friends in California and Utah to raise awareness and funds to support Dan and Lydia in their efforts to care for children in Mugiti. We invite you to help us in their efforts to serve the most vulnerable in their community. All funds donated to this Foundation are sent to the Home of Good Hope school and orphanage in Mugiti, near Mbale in eastern Uganda.
